Bo McDonald

President/CEO

#WHODAT

Finding his creative voice (literally) behind the mic as a radio DJ in Upstate New York, Bo McDonald used his unique view on the financial world to create the go-to firm for community financial institutions looking to venture outside their comfort zones. Through a process of trial and error, Bo founded Your Marketing Co just over a decade ago and has enjoyed continued growth since then. His past ten-plus years at YMC have been defined by industry-disrupting ideas, a whole lot of laughs, and a creative boom in credit union marketing.

A dedicated leader and student of office culture, Bo has created a unique environment at YMC that focuses on interdepartmental connections and advancement. He introduced the Future Leaders of YMC (FLY) program in 2017, a program that trains people within the company in business leadership, project management, and individual growth.

“I can put my head on the pillow at night and know we’re working hard for clients that are making a difference in this world, says McDonald. “Lives are changing and dreams and being realized through the hard work of our clients, and through the work we do with them.”

When he’s not in Greenville, Bo can be found basking in the bayou vibes at his spiritual home in Louisiana, enjoying Irene’s Cuisine, and sipping on a Schug Cabernet. He also someday wants to skydive, through has admitted the only thing about it that scares him is the possibility of getting sick on a stranger mid-air. A YMC Fanatic through and through, you just might catch this bearded beauty around your town rocking YMC branded glasses, a teal blazer, and orange alligator shoes. You can’t miss him, and you won’t want to.

Frank Allgood, Vice President of Relationship Development

Frank Allgood

Vice President of Brand Experience

Serving as the Vice President of Brand Experience, Francis Allgood, aka Frank, has a multitude of experience with communication through marketing. He has cultivated a piece of advice from his lengthy experience, “Tell a story that will change how a person feels. This can be about themselves, about you or your products, or even about the competition. Authentic brands are built on a balance of warmth and competence, and there’s an art (and science) to reaching meaningful consumer action.” This personal touch also relates directly to the YMC staff as Frank stresses that the team’s work is valuable and has an impact on those in the communities our credit unions serve. Working with people is the cornerstone for Frank’s interest in public facing marketing, with that being said, he would tell a younger version of himself that people pleasing will ultimately lead to failure.

Outside of work, Frank can be found with his wife Jeneane, and their two children Penelope and Thomas possibly at Saskatoons, drinking a Wandering Bard Oaked Blueberry Mead. Or perhaps at a Seattle Seahawks game where he has hopes to be in the building for a Super Bowl victory.

Jennifer Pham, Vice President of Ideas and Results

Jennifer Pham

Vice President of Creative Strategy

Heading up the Creative Team is Jennifer Pham. Jennifer is an undeniably skilled designer who spent her college years honing a defined style and scientific precision while earning dual degrees in Graphic Design and Chemistry at the University of South Carolina.

A creative soul and natural leader, Jennifer has found a second home here at YMC. She seldom meets a problem she can’t finesse her way around. She loves working with the staff and pushing creative boundaries, and always reminds the team that less is more. A graduate of YMC’s FLY Program, Jennifer has not stopped reevaluating and refining her role as a communicator and a leader as a dedicated member of a local Toastmasters Club. She’s a huge fan of anything spicy, as well as fruit juices with high-quality liquor. She dreams of one day having a secret passageway in her house.

Corey Hudgins

Vice President of Operations

Corey is YMC’s source of growth and change, bringing terrific new ideas to the team from her impressive career! She loves being part of an organization where the goal is to create success for one another. She reminds us all to not sweat the small stuff and also that less is more when it comes to marketing. Her motto is to be scrappy, which she embraces whether it’s wanting to follow the life long dream of singing opera at the met despite not being a singer, or in her decision to pursue marketing in the first place! When she’s not at work, you can find Corey knocking back some seafood with a Campari and soda, listening to some Doobie Brothers, and sharing large swaths of her repository of random knowledge!

Alex VanHaasteren

Senior Web Developer

Alex is YMC’s Senior Web Developer and, as the title suggests, she is an absolute pro! While she initially started in graphic design – working long and hard to expertly bring concepts to life – she also felt drawn to technology and applying her natural ability to problem solve. Web Development proved the perfect blend of her creative passion and technical savvy.

When Alex is out with friends – including her YMC colleagues – she’s up for Greek cuisine or some good pulled pork BBQ washed down with Diet Coke. Or an Old Fashioned, if the occasion demands. Someday, she hopes to go to Africa on a safari. Hopefully she’ll see a giraffe in the wild, because – as she’s pointed out – its neck is too short to reach the ground!

When she isn’t jamming out to T-Swift, she’s happy to impart some marketing words of wisdom, “Aim to create something unforgettable.” For day-to-day inspiration, she would remind you of two fundamental truths: You decide your happiness, and Ice cream is its own food group—not just a dessert.

Nancy Gross

Project Manager

Nancy, a key member of the YMC team, brings a blend of practical wisdom and adventurous spirit to her project management role. She values teamwork, collaboration, and making the world a better place!

Living by the motto, ‘Control what you can control, let the rest go,’ Nancy embodies a balanced approach to life and work. Her favorite aspect of working at YMC is its mission-driven ethos, aligning her professional endeavors with her personal values. Nancy’s entry into her current field was driven by her natural inclination towards organized living – she’s always been a project manager at heart, even in her personal life.

To her younger self, she’d offer this advice: Embrace adventure, even if it means a little inconvenience.
Adam Tate, Relationship Development Leader

Adam Tate

Senior Marketing Strategist

Adam is an East Tennessee native and spent the past decade in financial services. Adam often jokes he is perfect for the position because he’s been a credit union member since he was four years old! He enjoys the whole experience of working at YMC, from travel, to helping good people across the country improve their lives through credit union membership, and of course our awesome team! He also always reminds clients not to be afraid to try something outlandish or bizarre for campaigns!

A graduate of ETSU, Adam spent his undergrad years focusing on criminal justice and criminology before receiving his M.B.A. from King University. When he’s not honing his financial skills, talking recidivism or playing with his dogs, you can find Adam at many of the local breweries Bristol has to offer. He also dreams of one day hiking the Rainbow Mountain Pass in Peru.

Delaney Walker, Relationship Development Leader

Delaney Walker

Marketing Strategist

As a transplant from the Land of Nonprofits, Delaney already loves your mission. She is here for the low rates, the second chances, and the way credit unions make their communities stronger. Basically, she’s wild about you, but that doesn’t mean she’ll let you get away with saying something crazy like, “But that’s how we’ve always done it!” She agrees that some things are worth repeating: prayers, eating an entire bag of Five Guys fries, and Spartan obstacle courses— but her tolerance for repeating history doesn’t extend to ideas that aren’t furthering your mission. Don’t worry; she isn’t as much of a hardball as she likes to think. She loves laughter, brainstorming, and the way Your Marketing Company provides a space for possibilities. Best of all: she is already looking forward to working with you!

Emily Merritt

Marketing Strategist

Everyone, meet Emily! She’s one of our Marketing strategists who brings her passion for clients and boundless creativity to every new project she takes on. What sets Emily apart is her marketing philosophy: creating strong, memorable brands that are the preferred choice for consumers.

Emily’s professional journey covers a broad range of experiences, including strategic communications, marketing, performance in music and the arts, and impactful nonprofit work as an educator focusing on childhood trauma and literacy. Currently, she excels in brand communications and marketing strategy, using her diverse skill set to drive creative and purposeful results for organizations like YMC.

With a simple yet profound life motto – “Show perfect courtesy toward all people.” Emily embodies a spirit of adaptability and growth. We’re genuinely thrilled to have Emily as part of our team!

Kellie Kuntz

Marketing Strategist

Everyone meet Kellie, a versatile member of the YMC team, bringing her passion for marketing and creativity to every project she tackles! Originally drawn to the world of fashion, Kellie discovered her true calling in marketing, thanks to over a decade of experience in brand strategy and design agencies during her time in Chicago.

Kellie’s marketing philosophy centers around authenticity—ensuring that every touchpoint tells a cohesive and genuine brand story, all while keeping her finger on the pulse of industry trends.

Want to hear a fun fact? Kellie’s earliest concert memories include the legendary performances of Brooks and Dunn and the iconic Reba McEntire, a testament to her lifelong love for music.

Her life motto is simple yet powerful: ‘Live every day to the fullest, you never know what tomorrow will bring.’ This philosophy guides both her personal and professional endeavors. We’re thrilled to have Kellie on our team, bringing her unique blend of creativity and industry expertise to every project!

Katie Solomon, Brand Manager

Katie Solomon

Digital Brand Manager

As a Clemson University graduate, Katie brings both her English and Brand Communication education to the workplace as a YMC brand manager. She’s got a lot going on in her head, which is why one of her favorite creativity tips is to “brain dump.” What’s a “brain dump?” Simply jot down your internal monologue or ideas with reckless abandon and without regard to grammar or structure. This helps Katie clear her mind of thoughts and focus on the task at hand. Some really stellar ideas have come from those notes! If she could give her younger self one piece of advice, it would be: “Don’t be afraid to be bold and take chances. Put out into deep waters, and you’ll be surprised at what can happen.” She hopes to be bold and take a leap across the pond, as they say, and visit England one day! Hopefully she can get her favorite ½ sweet, ½ unsweet iced tea there or at least a Long Island. Not too much to ask.

Savannah Todd

Digital Brand Manager

Savannah is a versatile member of the YMC team, bringing her passion for marketing and social media to every project she takes on. Originally interested in the medical field, Savannah pivoted after the COVID-19 pandemic and found her true calling in marketing. Her favorite thing about working at YMC is being able to work on multiple projects, allowing her to flex her creative muscles and learn new skills every day.

When she’s not hard at work, Savannah loves indulging in her favorite food, pasta, at any restaurant that serves it up. Her favorite drink of choice is either Limoncello LaCroix or Izze Sparkling Juice, keeping her refreshed and energized throughout the day. As a marketing professional, Savannah believes that staying in the loop with industry updates and trends is crucial, and she advises others to do the same. Her life motto is to embrace the journey and find joy in any moment, a philosophy that drives her both personally and professionally. We’re so happy to have her on the team!

Corey Barker, Brand Manager

Corey Barker

Digital Content Manager

A Greenville native and Furman University graduate, Corey is a Digital Content Manager who is devoted to all things pop culture. You might catch that pop culture knowledge coming through in various forms, whether it’s Corey dropping the ridiculous fact that Paris Hilton has five cell phones to help her conduct business, regaling us about the time he saw *NSYNC as a child, or quoting Miss Frizzle when planning marketing campaigns by saying, “don’t be afraid to take chances, make mistakes, and get messy.” In addition to being an incredible asset to the YMC team, Corey also plans to be a published author! No wonder he’s so incredible at writing amazing content for our clients!

Emily Stokes, Graphic Designer

Emily Stokes

Creative Strategist

Emily has been a part of the YMC family since 2019. Bringing her fun-loving spirit with her wherever she goes, she is hopeful that quarantine will be a thing of the past. She reminisces of days when Kirk Franklin could sing in a park and imagines the glorious days spent with Dolly Parton. Her motto rings true for much of the last couple of years, “Do what you can until you can do what you couldn’t.”

Arjon Diesta

Brand Designer

Hailing from the Philippines, Arjon brings creativity and a positive outlook to work every day! While he is new to the credit union way he’s loved tackling the fresh challenge with his terrific design, where he uses his motto “know your audience, know what they want, and they will come to you.” In his free time, Arjon is quite the carnivore, enjoying fried meats and seafoods, and trying out new extreme sports and traveling to see and photograph the Phillipines many beautiful waterfalls! He also has enjoyed making creative connections and friends at YMC, and has said one of his favorite parts of the day is slurping up some noodles while thinking over to his fun fact to share with the team during standup.

Carlo Lazado

Digital Advertising Specialist

As one of YMC’s digital ads experts, Carlo started in the field working with high-end organizations like Google, stating that he both loves doing a job for a company he respects and loves being able to have a voice in his work. Carlo is an animal lover, giving the staff exciting updates about his farm, and in his free time, Carlo has the dream of setting up a dog sanctuary! Carlo often reminds us to “just keep breathing” when it comes to keeping a cool head. He takes life in stride by understanding you shouldn’t be too hard on yourself.

Glenn Cabrera

Digital Advertising Specialist

Glenn is an integral part of the YMC team, bringing his passion and expertise in digital ads to the table every single day. When he’s not busy optimizing campaigns, you can find him indulging in his love for Yellowfin Tuna in any shape or form, or maybe he’s at his all-time favorite restaurant, Chili’s. And of course, no morning is complete without his go-to drink, a piping hot cup of coffee.

Glenn’s enthusiasm for online advertising is contagious, as the ever-changing and dynamic nature of the industry constantly inspires him. He relishes the challenge of keeping up with the latest updates and trends, making him a highly motivated and engaged team player. We’re grateful to have Glenn on board and look forward to seeing him continue to thrive at YMC!

Tabatha Sowell

Administrator

Tabetha plays an invaluable role at YMC as the Office Administrator, bringing her enthusiasm and extensive expertise to the job. Tabetha lives life to the fullest, guided by her personal motto to laugh without reservation and love with a full heart every day as if it were her last. At YMC, she cherishes the close-knit community of team members who share deep mutual respect, support, and compassion. The positive and joyful work environment YMC creates is a source of inspiration and motivation that keeps her striving to do her best every day.

On a personal note, Tabetha is happily married to her soulmate of 18 years and is a proud parent of four beautiful children. When she’s not hard at work, you can usually find her cheering on her kids at sports games or relaxing by the pool or beach with a good book. We’re thrilled to have her as a valued member of our team!

Andrew Wyche

Copywriter

Hailing from the NC state capital (that’s Raleigh if you didn’t know), Andrew is YMC’s Copywriter extraordinaire. That’s why he knows that “The verb form of ‘reconnaissance’ is ‘reconnoiter.’ The former is, strictly speaking, a noun.” Seriously, he knows his words and he’ll use those words to get bold and weird (in a good way) with his copy. Fuelled by a love for pasta, shellfish, a good single malt, or a meal consisting of all three, Andrew navigates life with a motto engraved in his heart: “Choose kindness. Always.” It is this guiding principle that has led him to explore the realm of marketing, driven by a desire to connect with people in meaningful ways. As he continues to chase his dreams, one bucket list item stands out above the rest – a pilgrimage to Scotland. With his heart set on adventure and his pen poised for creativity, Andrew’s journey is far from over.

Dexter Ochoa

Development Assistant

When it comes to blending logical thinking and creative problem solving, Dexter’s abilities are undeniable! Beginning his career as a Web Developer, he’s no stranger to the wide world of Marketing and Advertising. Calling Biñan City in the Philippines home, Dexter has a burning desire to visit the Alpine peaks and valleys of Switzerland. While that journey may be far off, he is still no stranger to international travel. While visiting Japan, he was able to enjoy his favorite delicacy: Sushi and Sashimi. He also learned unexpected facts about Japanese Yen, specifically that it has special markings for the blind to know its value!

Living life by his motto to “Do good even if the world is unfair,” Dexter would also advise his younger self, “It’s hard, but you’re doing good!” Whether he’s enjoying a cup of coffee in the morning or the occasional Pale Pilsen in the evening, Dexter is eager to work with the talented professionals of YMC, and we’re just as eager to add his talent to the team as well! His marketing words of wisdom? “Be creative, and just do what you want!”
