Position Summary:
At Your Marketing Co, we’re in the business of helping credit unions not just survive, but grow. And a big part of that growth? Showing up in members’ inboxes with the right message, at the right time, in a way that actually drives action.
We’re looking for an Email & Automation Strategist who can bring strategy, creativity, and a whole lot of HubSpot knowledge to the table. You’ll own email marketing and automation across a variety of credit union clients, building campaigns that inform, engage, and convert. This role requires someone who thrives on details, loves data, and knows how to connect messaging with member needs.
What You’ll Be Responsible For:

Email Strategy & Execution:
Develop and implement effective email marketing campaigns that build awareness, drive traffic, generate leads, and educate current members. -
Automation Management:
Plan, build, and launch email workflows and automation sequences that clearly communicate each client’s product, service, and goals. -
HubSpot Ownership:
Own the ins and outs of HubSpot Marketing Hub for multiple clients—managing contacts, workflows, email assets, lists, and reporting. -
Performance Optimization:
Implement strategies that move the needle—tracking and improving metrics like open rate, CTR, conversions, and list health. -
Brand Consistency:
Ensure all campaigns are on-brand, follow proofing standards, and align with each client’s voice, tone, and visual identity. -
Audience & List Management:
Oversee client email lists and segmentation strategies to ensure emails are timely, targeted, and relevant. -
Collaboration & Insights:
Partner with account managers, designers, and writers to bring campaigns to life—and provide strategic insight during team meetings. -
Competitive & Trend Awareness:
Stay plugged into email trends, industry changes, and what’s working (or flopping) in the credit union space. -

Preferred Skills & Experience:

HubSpot Marketing Software Certification (or willingness to earn it quickly)

Hands-on experience building workflows, sequences, and lead nurturing campaigns

Strong understanding of email KPIs and performance benchmarks

Attention to detail in copy, proofing, and formatting

Familiarity with financial services, especially credit unions, is a big plus

Currently, no. We are a boutique marketing firm with a niche in mission-focused credit unions seeking to improve their communities. While there are plenty of community banks and institutions doing great work, our focus is on the over 4,500 credit unions that exist.
