Vice President of Digital Strategy

Position Summary: The Vice President of Digital Strategy is equal parts marketing strategist and manager. You will be responsible for providing leadership to a digital team serving forward-thinking credit unions across the country. It takes someone who is smart, resourceful, proactive, and passionate to develop and provide continuous training in the ever-changing world of digital advertising. This includes leading in the planning, management and execution of digital strategies related to our clients’ marketing plans. Overall, we seek someone who can provide experienced digital marketing tactics that generates greater loans and members for our credit union clients.

  • Be a problem solver who loves to collaborate with account reps, creative writers, designers and others
  • Identifies digital trends and insights, and optimizes performance based on insights
  • Brainstorm, provide, and lead a team to execute new and creative growth strategies through digital marketing
  • Develops digital marketing strategy by studying economic indicators, tracking changes in supply and demand, identifying members and their current and future needs, and monitoring the competition
  • Maintains and leading the digital marketing team by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees

Essential Skills and Experience:

  • 5+ years of marketing agency experience or equivalent required
  • Highly creative with leadership experience to identify target audiences and devising digital campaigns that engage, inform, and motivate
  • Demonstrate experience leading and managing a team in the areas of SEO/SEM, email, social media, display advertising campaigns, analytics, research, brand strategy, creative (art, copy), UX and web development
  • Manage ongoing direct relationship with influencer roster, seeding key client products and commissioning creative
  • Very strong relationship and people management skills
  • Proven organizational and planning abilities
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Sound problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Industry knowledge (financial institutions) a plus, but not required
  • Must be able and willing to travel when needed
